This page provides links to sample videos from our collection.  Each sample is accompanied by its supplemental curriculum materials.  Scroll down the page to see all resources linked to the video.

Educate.Today’s videos and supplemental curriculum materials have been developed by educators working in collaboration with notable individuals and exceptional national and local educational, cultural, scientific, business, and arts organizations to link students and the curriculum to individuals and organizations who apply that curriculum in real world experience.  That is, learners learn from professionals who do what the learner is studying.

Through this first-person perspective, both timely and historic topics are explored across the six primary disciplines of Arts, Arts Integration, Humanities, Social Sciences, STEAM/STEM, and Career Exploration and 56 sub discipline content areas.  Unique aspects of the types of videos available are described below.

Examples of each type of video are accessible by clicking on the thumbnail image to the right or via the hyperlink below.

  • Q & A Segments (1-5 minutes) with expert practitioners answering direct and specific questions
  • Tours (1-6 minutes) taking students to locations as diverse as art galleries, museums, science labs, sewer pipes, incinerators, and more.
  • Stories (1-8 minutes) employing a first person narrative form to highlight a topic or location
  • Topical Segments (1-10 minutes) explaining and/or demonstrating a specific concept or process
  • Profiles (1-10 minutes) highlighting interesting people doing interesting things
  • One-on-One Interviews (10-45 minutes) exploring fascinating topics with fascinating people (authors, artists, scientists, etc.
  • Documentaries (20-90 minutes) with long form, in-depth exploration of a topic, location, person, etc.
